PHP, MySQL & API Powered Vacation Booking
This application was developed for AAA Southern New England while I was employed at AAA headquarters in 2013. This PHP / MySQL driven web application extracted vacation data from our partners via API / XML feeds compiled into a MySQL database for fast searching of various vacation packages. It also utilized various AJAX calls to enhance the users experience while navigation the site.
PHP / MySQL Vehicle Management Solution
This application was developed for AAA Southern New England while I was employed at AAA headquarters in 2013. This PHP / MySQL driven web application was developed with a full back-end management system to manage the fleet of used vehicles AAA had for sale. I was paired with a graphic designer to create some nice visual effects and responsive layout for the front end of this application.
What’s News Online CMS
This application was developed to save the college printing costs for the monthly edition of “What’s News” sent to over 50,000 alumni. It is a custom designed CMS application built specifically for the college.
This application allows the staff from the News & PR office of Rhode Island College to update and maintain a website for the “What’s News” publication. The interface is simple, easy to use and utilized AJAX calls to enable a very fluid user experience.
Campus Tour Scheduling
This application allows potential students to reserve campus tours online by filling out an online form on the admissions website.
Potential students have the ability to reserve tours online which saves the admissions office time manually scheduling tours and re-keying student information for various students.
Another major advantage is that this application offers the convenience to potential students by being able to register for tours on a 24 hour basis instead of just during normal business hours.
RI Department of Corrections – Inmate Search
This application was written while I was employed by the Department of Information Technology for the state of Rhode Island. Its purpose is to allow the public the ability to quickly search for and retrieve public inmate information from the Department of Correction’s database. It was written in PHP & MySQL
RI Department of Administration – Workers Compensation Notification System
This application written in ASP with an Informix database is used to notify employees of the State Workers Compensation office of new claims. It greatly reduced the need for printed materials that the office generated on a daily basis.
